Good Shepherd Medical Center, (GSMC) commemorated 9/11 Tuesday in the hospital’s Healing Gardens. GSMC Chaplain Reverend H.L. VanBolden, D. Min, gave an overview of the ceremony.
Oliver Dudd a volunteer chaplain offered the invocation and a corporate reading of Psalm 124. Johnny Johnson, another volunteer chaplain sang a solo after which the observants joined her to sing a hymn titled ‘Because He Lives.’
In closing, volunteer chaplain Gerald Cooper bestowed the benediction closing with “Our Lord’s Prayer from Matthew 6: 9-13.
